Paul Lomas, PTA
Wellness Director
Paul holds a BS in Exercise Physiology from USC, is certified as a Physical Therapy Assistant by Midlands Technical College and is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He’s helped people for 22 years in both clinical and non-clinical settings including cardiac rehabilitation work at USC, therapeutic exercise at HealthSouth and as Program Director at Specialized Fitness. He has extensive experience in the areas of fitness assessment, health risk analysis and exercise prescriptions for a variety of health conditions including obesity, cardiovascular disease, stroke, cancer, hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, back pain, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s and geriatrics. Roseanna Winters,
Business Manager
Rosanna holds a Bachelor of Science degree from George Mason University. Italian by birth, Rosanna has inherited a natural love of cooking enabling her to influence the direction of the nutrition program toward natural, wholesome food. Using whole, plant based foods as primary ingredients, the menu for her family has always reflected what research has proven to be the healthiest diet in the prevention of chronic diseases including heart disease, type II diabetes, and certain cancers.
Coming from a varied background, Rosanna’s experiences have provided the center with a range that nurtures the development of programs needed for a complete and healthy lifestyle. Before accepting her current position at DWC she was The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Patient Service Manager for the State of South Carolina where she was responsible for developing and implementing programs for patients, their families and health care professionals.

- Patient Advocacy – met with Senator Hollings, resulting in the raising of $5 million for blood cancer research.

- Back to School - By recruiting top health care professionals from around the country she was able to unite an elite team of experts for the development of a “Back to School” program that is now used nationally by the Society
